One needs to be a little careful in suggesting that a particular translation is
incorrect. The translated strings get incorporated into the CSV Importer
config file, and it is legitimate for the user to add/delete/amend entries to
match with whatever entries the particular investment institution has decided
to use in its statements. So, a particular entry might, to one person, seem
incorrect, but to another it actually corresponds with his situation. So,
alternative versions may be included in the file by the user.
It would be as well for the user to review the entries in his file.

Also, the first item in each of these lines has to match with the standard
transaction types as hard-coded within KMyMoney.

Thanks for your bug report.

Unfortunately you report errors in the german translation (responsible
translation team) together with errors in the englisch text (responsible
kmymoney devels).

Before the translation errors can be properly fixed, the englisch text has to
be correct and needs context for translators when to translate share as Aktie
or Wertpapier.

Please report a bug against kmymoney in kde4 + kf5 so that the messages can be
corrected in english first with proper context.

Please add this new bug against kmymoney in kde4 + kf5 to the field "Depends
on" in this report.

Thank you to the commenters for looking into this. I am happy to file my
comments to the English (i.e., original) version separately.
However, please note that this is independent of the German translations. The
word 'share' is inconsistently translated within the same drop-down list: 'Buy
shares' as 'Wertpapiere kaufen', 'Sell shares' as 'Aktien verkaufen'. I
continue to consider this a clear mistake in the translation.

--- Comment #4 from Jack <***@users.sourceforge.net> ---
I also responded to the other bug to say that I believe the English
terms are OK as they are, although I will do more research to see if
there is anything to support that "share" does not apply as well to
bonds and mutual funds as to stocks.

I don't speak German, so I can only assume the bug is correct that the
current German translation uses terms which only apply to stocks and not
to bonds. (What about mutual funds?). As I am not currently sure where
in the code the terms exist, I do not know if there is any reasonable
way to put a comment or hint that translations should use a term which
applies equally to stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

(I am not a developer, but I do maintain the documentation for KMyMoney,
and I will certainly make a note to check that the handbook is correct
and accurate in use of all these terms.)

"Shares"="Anteile" no matter wether stocks, bonds or mutual funds, isn't it?
